In South Africa, the seasons are exactly the opposite of those in Europe. While we have summer here, it's winter there.<\/p>\n

Winter \u2013 June to September<\/strong><\/p>\n

Winter is drier but cooler. Daytime temperatures are often just right, but it can get quite chilly at night. Most of the rain in Cape Town falls during this season.<\/p>\n

Spring \u2013 October to November<\/strong><\/p>\n

In spring, nature bursts into a colorful celebration of wildflowers. Especially in October, when the spring edition of South Africa Nomads kicks off, it\u2019s incredibly green. Perfect weather around 20-28 degrees with few tourists since it falls between two peak seasons.<\/p>\n

In Cape Town, you'll enjoy pleasant temperatures \u2013 ideal for exploring the city. As you drive from Hermanus towards the Garden Route, it just gets better. In Mossel Bay and Jeffreys Bay, it\u2019s perfect surf weather, and in Addo, the elephants are extra active.<\/p>\n

Summer \u2013 December to March<\/strong><\/p>\n

This period features warm days and significant rain in some regions. December is peak season due to the local summer holiday \u2013 expect crowds on the Garden Route and higher prices. It\u2019s a great time for a beach holiday, but for the ultimate road trip in South Africa, there are better times.<\/p>\n
