This is the overview of your 15-day road trip through South Africa. Our route takes you to the most beautiful spots in the country. The overnight stays are already set, but during the day, you get to choose which attractions you want to visit and how much time you want to spend there.
You’ll traverse South Africa in a Toyota Cruiser, a well-equipped SUV that makes it easy to conquer all kinds of roads.
The car is automatic and comes with all the necessary gadgets. Everything you need for a hassle-free trip is right there!

During the road trip, you'll spend your first night in a hotel in Cape Town. You'll pick up the car and have a chance to explore the city center and unwind after your journey. After that, each night you'll stay at a lovely campsite in nature or by the coast along your route. Here, you can fully relax after a day filled with adventures.
All campsites have sanitary facilities. Most campsites also have electricity, and you have an electricity connection in your car for the nights without it. We've already reserved a spot for you everywhere in advance, so you don't have to worry about that on-site.

Car Insurance
Accidents can happen at any time, so we recommend adding a damage waiver to your booking. This insurance costs you €30 per day and covers the vehicle when a member of your team is behind the wheel. By choosing this insurance, you won't have to pay a deposit.
If you haven't taken out a damage waiver, you will need to pay a deposit of €1000, and the deductible can be up to €3000 in case of damage.

Going on safari in South Africa is a real must! We offer several options to add to your trip:
Early Safari – Addo Elephant National Park
Are you an early bird? Go on a safari in the early morning when the animals are at their most active. The guide will tell you all about the animals and knows the best spots to see them in their natural habitat. This tour lasts about 3.5 hours.

Half Day Safari – Addo Elephant National Park
If you want to spend a little more time on safari with a guide, choose a half day safari. What you encounter will remain a surprise, but there's a good chance you'll spot elephants. Other animals you might see in the park include lions, Cape buffalos, zebras, warthogs, kudus, and red hartebeests. This tour lasts about 4.5 hours.

Full Day Safari –Addo Elephant National Park + Schotia Private Game Reserve
Want to get the most out of your safari? Book a safari to both Addo Elephant NP and the Schotia Private Reserve. In this reserve, you'll spot even more different animals like hippos, giraffes, rhinos, and crocodiles. Schotia aims to provide a natural, ethical living environment for the animals.
It was the first reserve in the region with free-roaming lions that hunt naturally instead of being fed. You'll be on an unforgettable safari for the whole day. Lunch, dinner, and drinks are included.

Have you always wanted to take a surf lesson? You can do that in Jeffreys Bay, one of the best surf spots in the world. The town is immersed in surf culture, with annual surfing competitions like the World Surf League and a laid-back lifestyle centered around the ocean.
Surf shops, local surf spots, trendy cafés, and a close-knit surf community make it a unique and relaxed surfer's paradise. The lesson lasts 1.5 hours and is suitable for all levels.

Discover Tsitsikamma from the water! Paddle with a guide along the Storms River, passing under the suspension bridge and deeper into the pristine nature. Further down the river, you'll switch from the kayak to a lilo, an inflatable boat. Here, you can also swim and jump from the cliffs.
The guide will tell you all about the unique nature and the animals that live here along the way. If the ocean is too rough, you'll walk the first part of the tour, a trail with stunning views. The tour lasts 2.5 hours and is easy to do. An unforgettable experience!

This is Africa's highest bungee jump: 216 meters of free fall. Bloukrans Bungy is known as the best in the world and holds six Guinness World Records. And it has a perfect safety record of 100%.
After your jump, a team member will pick you up, and you'll be hoisted back up. Along the way, you'll have all the time to take in the stunning Bloukrans Gorge. Once back on the bridge, you'll wrap it up with a walk across the SkyWalk, a suspension bridge that hovers 216 meters above the Bloukrans River.
You can choose from two options:

You walk across the SkyWalk to the starting point, get ready, and jump 216 meters down.
Bungee Jump, Zipline & Skywalk – €109
You start with a 200-meter zipline to the starting point, then make the 216-meter jump. This option combines the zipline, bungee jump, and the SkyWalk walk.
Your journey begins in Cape Town. We expect you on the first day between 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the airport to pick up your car.

We offer flights in 2026 with Lufthansa from Amsterdam.
If you book your flights through us, you'll have a layover in Frankfurt, Germany of about 2 hours. The flights are aligned with your travel schedule, and you can count on our support in case of any issues.
Flight times and prices
Your outbound flight is scheduled for the day before your road trip starts. The flight departs between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and you will arrive in South Africa the following day. This overview shows the flight times and prices per week from Amsterdam.
Expect 2 extra travel days before and after your road trip (these days are already included in the weekly planning).

We expect you in Cape Town on the first day of your road trip in the afternoon. The check-in is between 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Example: If you book a road trip for spring during the period from April 13 to April 23, you would fly to South Africa on April 12 and be back home on April 24.
You can also choose to fly to South Africa a bit earlier or return home later, but in that case, you will need to arrange your own transportation and accommodations for the period before or after your road trip.
