There's plenty of time to explore Cape Town. Go hiking on Lion's Head or Table Mountain for stunning views of the city. Or visit Kirstenbosch, a beautiful botanical garden.

Of course, you can also stop by Boulders Beach to spot the famous South African penguins.

You'll be driving a scenic route along the coast towards Hermanus. We'll provide you with all sorts of tips for the journey, but definitely stop at the lookout point on Clarence Drive for a breathtaking view.

After a four-hour drive, you'll arrive in Swartvlei, a beautiful spot to relax in nature. Here, you’ll truly be ‘off the grid’, so be sure to bring some groceries or have dinner with the other nomads.

Take a walk on the estate or take a dip in the lake. End your day under the thousands of stars you can see here on clear nights.

Your next stop is Addo Elephant National Park, home to various species of wildlife. The name gives it away; there are over 600 elephants living in this park. You'll get the chance to admire them up close.

A new day is dawning, perfect for a sporty adventure in Tsitsikamma National Park. With its 80 kilometers of coastline, suspension bridges, and spectacular hiking trails, this park is a must-see on the Garden Route.

Cross the famous Suspension Bridge, hike one of the trails, or explore the river on a kayaking excursion. Together with a guide, you'll paddle along the Storms River, under the suspension bridge, deeper into the untouched nature. Don't forget to look around and try to spot some wildlife in Tsitsikamma.

Today, you continue your journey to Mossel Bay, a drive of just over two hours with plenty of beautiful stops along the way.

Be sure to make a stop in Knysna, where you can enjoy stunning views of the ocean. Continue your route along Plettenberg Bay, where many seal colonies swim. The best view is at Robberg Nature Reserve.

You will be camping by the sea tonight, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the waves.

Continue your journey in the morning to Franschhoek, a drive of about four hours. Along the way, you'll pass through the Franschhoek Pass, a beautiful route through the mountains.

Franschhoek is famous for its exquisite wineries, so be sure to end the day with a lovely glass of wine in the vineyards. You can easily park your 4x4 and get around with an Uber or the wine tram, allowing you to enjoy a glass of South African wine without a care in the world.
